Cooling rain showers and an indoor steam room create the serene facilities in which to achieve true relaxation. A Lounging Deck allows guests to enjoy the Sanya climate while dappled with shade.
ESPA at The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya has 24 private treatment rooms, four of which feature Italian made baths carved from stone. Couples seeking seclusion can book the ultimate spa experience in one of six specially appointed Private Spa Suites, which feature a private steam shower and luxurious outdoor Jacuzzi.
All ESPA treatments are inspired by ancient Eastern philosophies combined with the latest relaxation and rejuvenation techniques and advanced natural skin-care products. Chinese inspired acupressure massage and Reflex zone foot treatments sit alongside.
Ayurvedic-influenced holistic therapies from India, bathing rituals and exfoliations and
Balinese influenced massage techniques. Guests may also practice the ancient art of Tai Chi under the gentle guidance of the hotel’s Tai Chi master.
ESPA at The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya also features a Fitness Studio with state-of-the-art newly released units from Technogym including Cardiovascular, Resistance, Rowing machines and Free Weights. A separate space provides a dedicated Kinesis Studio, with more than 30 square meters reserved for Technogym’s Kinesis system, a unique line of equipment that uses cables for weight resistance training via natural body movements. Guests may enjoy classes of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates in the Chi Studio and personal fitness coaching is also available.
For refreshments and light healthy dining the spa café Mood provides a beautiful outdoor space with a vibrant social atmosphere where guests can relax after their spa or fitness experience.
