Business Networking at ILTM
ILTM recognises that networking is essential for the luxury travel industry and offers unrivalled opportunities for buyers and exhibitors to network outside of the pre-scheduled appointment programme.

As well as parties and cocktail receptions in 2009 ILTM also offerred Exhibitors and VIP Buyers further networking opportunities through the programme of Focus Forums and Speed Networking.

Focus Forums

In 2009, Focus Forums provided a 1-hour showcase of products and services offered by ILTM's exhibitors in a more informal setting. Taking place over breakfast, lunch or at the end of the day - Focus Forums provided a unique networking opportunity in a closed group environment and provided VIP Buyers with in-depth insight into the luxury travel products showcased at ILTM.
 
Each VIP Buyer was invited to attend up to two Focus Forums at ILTM, in addition to their Pre-Scheduled Appointments.

Speed Networking

Launched at ILTM 2008, Speed Networking returned in 2009 with each one-hour session focussing on specific travel categories - from spa and wellness to gastronomic delight and cultural discovery.

Each buyer and exhibitor were invited to take part in the session most relevant to them. There were a maximum of 12 four-minute meetings per session and VIP Buyers were invited to attend at least one session most relevant to their requirements.

Social Networking Events at ILTM

Swapping their Meeting for a Martini and 2009 attendees took advantage of ILTM's social events. While their days were filled with serious business opportunities, at ILTM the nights are filled with chic networking functions and parties that even the most seasonsed of luxury travellers wouldn't go without.
