Situated in the spectacular Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the award-winning Kasbah Tamadot is located 45-minutes drive from Marrakech Airport and approximately 1 hour from central Marrakech just beyond the village of Asni. The extensive grounds are filled with staircases, courtyards and gardens to explore and the staff are local Berbers, recruiting and trained from the surrounding villages.
Each of the 24 rooms and suites has been individually decorated to reflect the beautiful architecture of the building and feature antiques from all over the world. The spirit and charm of Moroccan design is beautifully infused with contemporary elements. For a unique experience the six Berber Tented Suites are perched on the hillside offering stunning views. The luxurious tents are decorated in a similar style to the rooms in the main building, with Moroccan inspired furnishings, and come equipped with split air-conditioning/heating units to keep cool in summer and warm in winter and a plunge pool.
With an intimate fireside bar for pre-dinner cocktails, a stunning dining area complete with terrace dining and breathtaking views, Kanoun restaurant serves delicious local and international cuisine. Combining local produce and flavours with a great selection of international and Moroccan wines. If the weather is right, dine al fresco in a variety of different locations.
Facilities include tennis courts, a gym, indoor and outdoor pool, a traditional Moroccan Hammam, sauna and spa treatment rooms. Various activities can be arranged to explore the surrounding area by foot, mule, mountain bike or further afield by 4x4. |
