New sofas continue to be sleeper sofas and other value adds that guests appreciate in the rooms, such as microwaves and mini-refrigerators, also remain. The new look for the villas is classic and timeless with thoughtful Hawaiian touches. Kitchens feature stainless steel appliances, rich walnut cabinets, granite countertops and a reclaimed glass mosaic backsplash. The comfortable dining area with L-shaped banquette seating flows into the open living room. Hawaiian weaves and rhythms are found in fabrics and linens creating a modern, contemporary Hawaiian feel. The spacious two story villas are set apart from the main hotel building and offer not only the comfort and convenience of renting a private home, but also all the amenities associated with a world class resort. Amenities, services, and experiences offered exclusively to villa guests include expedited check in, special welcome amenities, and exclusive dining options.

The three main swimming pools have also received dramatic enhancements. The decks surrounding the adults-only pool, and upper and lower lagoon pools have been replaced with quartzite, a naturally beautiful heat resistant stone that is kinder to the touch than other materials. This durable stone also has a high traction surface to ensure safer footing.

The Fairmont Kea Lani offers guests a variety of quality cuisine from four restaurants, four bars, including a swim up bar, and a gourmet bakery & deli. The deli’s Food for Flight program or Picnics-to-go offer the convenience of great food on the go.
