Filip Boyen, Chief Operating Officer, Orient-Express Hotels Ltd, joined the Company in 1998.  In his present role, he has operational responsibility for all the company’s hotels, restaurants, trains and cruises, with a focus on profitability, quality assurance and service standards.

He was appointed VP, Africa, Australasia and Latin America for Orient-Express in October 2005.  Prior to this, Filip was Managing Director of Orient-Express Hotels Peru, responsible for running the company’s four hotels and railway transportation business, PeruRail.

Prior to joining the Company he had hotel experience in Russia, the Indian Ocean, South Africa and Turkey.
